About

About Jonathan

Based in South Carolina, Jonathan has been fishing since he could remember. His Uncle taught him how to fish in ponds and in the South Anna River as a young boy while growing up in Montpelier, VA. Jonathan would also visit his grandparents in Cocoa Beach, FL which gave him the opportunity to fish the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River.

Jonathan graduated from West Virginia University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Professional work brought Jonathan to Central Pennsylvania in 2011 where he rekindled his love for fishing while catching smallmouth bass on the Susquehanna River. After that, let’s just say he was “hooked”. Jonathan purchased a Seaark Predator in 2018 which gave him better access to the wonderful fisheries Pennsylvania has to offer and became an avid bass tournament angler! Since then Jonathan has been working on creating solutions for anglers to give them better experiences on the water which in return WifeCallinMeHome was created.

Jonathan is happily married with two children, two german shepherds and of course his own fish in a custom made outdoor micropond. Jonathan’s goal is to help anglers in the state of North Carolina to have better experiences on the water and a better understanding of seasonal patterns, marine technology and different fishing techniques for beginners to the seasoned tournament angler.
